The potential competitors of League of Legends: Wild Rift
League of Legends: Wild Rift will be a super game developed by Riot Games based on the PC version called League of Legends. Currently, it is available on Google Play as a testing version along with other games from Riot.
With previous announcements, League of Legends: Wild Rift will have an English version as soon as it is released globally. In the Chinese market, the game will be distributed by Tencent with a Chinese interface. At the moment, there is no official information on the launch date of SEA or Southeast Asia, we do not exclude that possibility, at least there is SEA server.
If so, when distributed in regions around the world, how will Riot’s MOBA game compete with other similar products? Please see the potential competitors of League of Legends: Wild Rift below:
1, Arena of Valor
This is one of the most famous MOBA Mobile games, which has the largest market share in the world. It is a great product from the Garena developer. The game is not so popular in Europe and North America. But it is different in Asia, in which there is no Mobile game that can compare to Arena of Valor. It has been had the biggest number of gamers in Asia. Arena of Valor has many game modes, including Grand Battle, Valley Skirmish and Abyssal Clash.
With League of Legends: Wild Rift, if you want to dominate the market, you must first overcome Arena of Valor because Garena’s game was released quite a long time. They have many loyal players with the habit of playing so it is difficult to give up. For them to turn to Riot’s game, it will take a long time to verify the quality.
2, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang
In fact, this game has a strong market activity in Southeast Asian countries especially Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines. In some other countries, the game has its own language interface and publisher.
Also, this can be considered a serious opponent with League of Legends: Wild Rift. Even in the Southeast Asian market, Shanghai Moonton’s game has certain advantages. League of Legends: Wild Rift wants to build the reputation so they need mechanisms and outstanding characteristics to gamers’ attention.
3, Arena of Glory
This is a game from Gamota developer, invested in extremely powerful graphics. Compared to the Chinese market, this game seems to be out of breath in the race for MOBA game players on other continents. Compared to the competitors above, Arena of Glory is probably not a big obstacle for League of Legends: Wild Rift to gain market share from the Asian gaming community.
4, Onmyoji Arena
This is an interesting game from NetEase China. Previously, there were rumors that the game would continue to be released by Garena in many countries in Europe and North America. But it has not had any information about that because the game only distributes at SEA. In fact, the game still has a relatively large player community. However, they are only those who are fans of Japanese anime or fantasy culture.
Meanwhile, League of Legends: Wild Rift is an international-oriented product, backed by the domestic PC version. Riot’s MOBA game must be more popular than Onmyoji Arena.
5, Vainglory
Continuing to be the released product of Gamota and Super Evil Megacorp. However, the coverage of this product is not too large when there is a not so big number of players. The reason for this is that the game has an ancient design and some features do not interest new players. Most of this game is operated under the mechanism of the previous versions.
After launch, League of Legends: Wild Rift will be not difficult to compete for market share with the game of Super Evil Megacorp. With its innovation, we think Riot’s game will win.
